Company 'N Tempo Theatre and Dance Centre provides instruction in Theatre, Voice, Piano, Guitar and Dance.  
CNT was established in 1989 by Rosemarie Libera.  

The CNT Studio goal is:

To foster the appreciation of and the participation in the Performing Arts

  • In our Dance program:

    • A Progressive Syllabus is used which stresses technique, dance concepts and movement fundamentals. 

    • Specific information is presented at each level sequence.

    • Great consideration is given to age appropriate and developmentally appropriate material and presentation.

    • Emphasizing a child's natural ability while introducing structure is balanced in each level sequence in order to increase skill levels without destroying self expression.
       

  • Theatre and Voice programs work with beginners as well as experienced students.

  • In all classes a conceptual approach to learning is used in order to encourage a balance between the creative needs and the technical needs of a Dancer, Singer, Actor. 

  • The centre not only provides classes for instruction but offers an Artspace where Guest Artists. Guest Performers and New Works have been hosted.  Guests have ranged from local artists to International choreographers to National Champions.

  • Performances, workshops and master classes are often provided for students during class time.

  • We are constantly providing ways to produce intelligent, creative, thinking children; while still stressing strong technique and basic fundamental concepts in each discipline.

  • The Centre targets families and instructors committed to the performing arts and to arts education. 

  • We live in an area rich in stage, music, and dance. The Centre encourages students to participate in and attend performances. 

  • Our Dance Ensemble has performed from Stamford CT to Boston MA
