RoseMarie Libera
RoseMarie Libera is the founder and Artistic Director of Company 'N Tempo
Theatre and Dance Centre. The school was established in 1989 to help promote the
participation in and the appreciation of the performing arts to children of all ages.
RoseMarie holds a B.S. in English and an M.A. in Physical Education. She has been a
performer, choreographer and teacher for 30 years. After performing in two dance companies
and touring with an original production "Hollywood Canteen: A Reenactment" she
continues to hone her skills by attending master classes in Boston, Connecticut and New
York. She has served as VP of Dance for the
Connecticut Association of Physical Education, Health,
Recreation and Dance - CAHPERD. She is currently a member of the
Dance Teacher Certification Committee for Higher Education for the state
of CT.
RoseMarie is adjunct faculty in the Dance departments of
Eastern Connecticut State University (ECSU) and Central Connecticut State University (CCSU).
She is also an advocate/member of
Connecticut Dance Alliance
and the
Connecticut Alliance for Arts Education. RoseMarie is adjunct faculty in the
Dance departments of Eastern Connecticut State University (ECSU) and
Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). This year she
joined the faculty at Wesleyan University for the CCY
summer program. She has choreographed for several high school
musicals as well as local theatre groups throughout Connecticut. She has written and

Elizabeth Cook-Asal
Program Coordinator, Dance Instructor, Summer Dance & Arts Kaleidoscope
Director and Instructor. Elizabeth graduated from the School of the
Hartford Ballet with a Dance Teaching Certificate. A former New England Scottish
Dance Champion, she is also certified to teach by the Scottish Dance Teachers'
Alliance. Elizabeth has taught, choreographed, and performed throughout the Eastern
U.S. for various civic/ regional theatre companies; dance/performing arts schools and
companies; summer camps; public and private schools kindergarten - grade 12' and day cares
and nursery schools. She has also been on Faculty at the University of Hartford -
Hartt School of Music, Naugatuck Valley Community-Technical College (Adult Education), The
School of the Hartford Ballet, and the Waterbury Ballet. As an educator of dance,
Elizabeth is an advocate/member of the CT
Dance Alliance; the CT Association
of Physical Education, Health, Recreation, and Dance; the CT Alliance for Arts in
Education; the CT Commission of
the Arts.
Salvatore D'Alessandro

Sal currently teaches general music
and conducts the Jazz Band at the Cromwell Middle School, having previously been at the
Edna C. Stevens Elementary school for eleven years. He also maintains a studio, offering
private instruction on guitar and bass guitar. He received a bachelors degree
from Wesleyan University in 1972, specializing in guitar and African-American music
. That same year Sal was awarded a Jazz travel-study grant from the
National Endowment for the Arts. Sal received his CT Music teacher certification in
1989 through Wesleyan's Educational Studies Program followed in 1996, by a MALS
degree. From weddings to variety and Broadway shows; jazz, funk and disco to ethnic and
ballroom dancing styles; Sal has performed it all in his many years of strumming
throughout New England. His recording credits include demos for local songwriters and
bands, as well as jingles for a local ad agency at the former WCNX in Middletown. An avid
sportsman, Sal loves rowing, squash, swimming and tennis. He lives in Higganum with his
wife Mardi and their two sons.
Judith
Milardo, soprano, enjoys an international recital career, having
performed in France and Italy during the last season. In July of 2002,
French reviewer Philippe Cazeel described Ms. Milardo’s performance as
“A true honor to the ear.” Educated at the Hartford Conservatory and
Wesleyan University, Ms. Milardo has served as teacher of voice, piano,
recorder and theory at universities, art centers, and privately for over
thirty years. Ms. Milardo is presently the soprano soloist for Christ Church
Cathedral in Hartford, a performer with Connecticut Opera and the St.
Gregory Schola Cantorum. She has appeared as a soloist with The Hartford
Symphony, Orchestra New England, The Wallingford Symphony, The New Haven
Symphony, The Tanglewood Festival Orchestra and The Castle Hill Festival
Orchestra. She was a member of CONCORA (Connecticut Choral Artists) for 25
years as well as singing with the a cappella group, The Woodland Scholars,
for 6 years. Her operatic roles include Frasquita in Carmen, Papagena in Die
Zauberflote, Belinda in Dido and Aeneas, as well as numerous leading roles
in Gilbert and Sullivan operettas and musical theater productions. She is a
published composer and arranger, voice-over artist, and has appeared in a
Hartford Stage production with award winning actress Angela Bassett.
Janet Orde
has been with Company 'N Tempo since September 1996. She holds an
Associates of Arts Degree in Dance from Dean College in Franklin Massachusetts.
While at Dean she studied Tap, Jazz, Ballet, and Modern, as well as Pedagogy, Dance Theory
and History, and Creative Movement. She was a member of the Dean Dance Company, and
awarded the Woodward Scholarship for academic excellence and leadership abilities as well
as the Gregory Hines Scholarship, which is awarded to the one returning student who excels
in and wishes to perpetuate the art of Tap Dance. Janet also auditioned and was accepted
into the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center's summer intensive and 2 year Certificate
Program in New York City. After graduation, Janet danced with Manhattan Tap, the New York
based tap company in The Oasis Dance Project, under the direction of Heather Cornell.
Along with Ms. Cornell she has studied with tap greats Dianne Walker and Josh Hilberman.
She has also taken master classes with Savion Glover, Buster Brown, Brenda Buffalino and
Tony Waag, among others. Janet also studied at the Leon Collins Dance Studio in
Brookline Massachusetts, and performed at the Boston Esplanade 4th of July celebration in
1995. She has taught at numerous studios and summer programs throughout Massachusetts and
Connecticut, and most recently was the tap coach for Central Connecticut State University.
She is a member of the
International Tap Association.
Derek Robinson
has toured Nationally for Amaryllis Productions in Bubbling Brown Sugar. He has played
Dinner Theatres in Fl., OH., PA., R.I., CT., AND N.Y. He has done Stock and Regional
Theatre. He has appeared on T. V. and in Films and has received several Awards for his
work in performance. He has trained at Albano Ballet and Performing Arts; SCSU; Hartford
Stage Company; Hartt School of Music; as well as Various N.Y. Dance Studios and Second
Stage Theatre NY. DEREK is an Actor, Dancer, Singer, Choreographer, and Producer. He
specializes in Tap and Character Dancing. He is a Company 'N Tempo Performer, a Dancer
with Dance Connections and is working on producing in The Golden Age which has appeared in
N.Y. and CT.
Liese Zitzkat
has
been a teacher of voice and piano to children and adults for nineteen
years. Her teaching curriculum employs a wide range of musical styles from classical
to popular, and is geared to meet each student's individual goals and abilities.
Liese has been a member of CitySingers of Hartford, the South Congregational Church Choir
in Hartford, and Trillium Voices. She has been the organist at the Church of St.
James in Higganum, and is currently a substitute organist at several area churches.
She has been a past musical director for the Cromwell Summer Theater Arts Program.
Liese holds a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology from St. Joseph College, and a
Master's Degree in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State
University.
